Hey, Steve....

Thanx for your observing eye, your appreciation for what you see, and your propensity for sharing it with us. I have in past years heard mockingbirds while on the road going over the hill in the direction of Peacework. It seems there are not as many kestrels these days as they were a few years back, but I have seen a few fairly recently. Hope they find your bird house to their lilking.

Maybe I'll see you the next time I come your way...

Thanx Again......

Thanks Steve, your reports are always heart warming, and lift my spirit. I easily imagine myself viewing the scene you describe.

Have a great day and spring.

Wonderful post Steve. Up here in north Greece, the geese flocks are prodigious as well and always a welcome sight. Spring is here!

This really spoke to me as I start a new relationship. John, the love of my life, has been gone for going on seven years and Freddie our cat for three. Are humans meant to rattle alone on the fringes without heart to heart connection? Because I am no longer committed to stay in one place it seemed unfair to get another cat.
Has spirit delivered a companion to fill that void? At 74, I am still willing to be open.

It's nice to have some extra time on my hands to read your blogs... I know what you mean about comparing... That lesson still comes up for me from time to time.
I look forward to meeting, Trip. I'm happy for you all to be together, and I bet your friend was right about Nell wanting you to be happy.
Love,
Laura Jean

Hello My Friend,
Thank you for sharing your words. I was relieved to see today that it was snowing and the temperature was below 20 degrees. A bit more normal for upstate NY February weather. ; ) I'm guessing you can relate. I've never been so happy to see snow as this year.
What a beautiful picture you painted here.. you and the new pup.. marveling at the radiance of natures glory. I'm missing the woods. Sometime soon I'll have to take myself out to them, whether I am walking or still on crutches. I give thanks for all that is.
Blessings,
Laura Jean
