Steve,

The words you used to describe this were eloquent - and you framed this whole entry in a way which rewards that couple with the dignity you silently strove to impart. By using your reflective voice and open heart to share a point view we can all benefit from, you've given others great insight and left the couple with an opportunity to quietly and privately bond at a time when they likely needed it most.

A silent hug can be as powerful, if not more powerful, than a demonstrated one. Thank you for sharing this!

Hey Steve, thanks for being you. I do my best not to apologize for being human, and at the same time strive for the spiritual perfection. It helps to keep my humble.
You are very compassionate, caring and loving. The physical act of reaching out to that couple at the vets is but one aspect of a larger dimension. Your thoughts, your prayers, and your awareness stand in another dimension. They cross over without any physical contact required. Healers do healings across many many miles, without 'seeing' the person. They work in 'the other' dimension.
Grieving is human. And Chris reminded you of your recent loss, and the imminent loss of Nell. He's very perceptive and you could not have found a more perfect person to share 'feeling' with.
I try to go to that sacred place, often, even if I am two hundred miles away from it. Often I think of Crowfield Sanctuary, when I see a crow. I remember snowshoeing up there last year, around January. It was fulfilling, even though I didnt make it right to the Circle with something Sacred in the Middle.
Miss you Brother, and we will see you soon enough!
Love and peace,
George

aaaa...wisdom medicine could be all around us....yet, like nell, who wags her tail in different frequencies that is generally unheard by humans, I/we, may need to change/shift our hearing, seeing, and feeling frequencies, in order to receive a small dose of her unwavering, innate joy.

I had pleasure of meeting Nell when I came out a few times with Dick Reeves. What a beautiful animal she is, and I'm glad I got the opportunity to watch her play fetch with Dick and enjoy our company. May she continue to follow her bliss when she is ready to pass to the next faze of her life.

Steve, first let me say I am feeling the sadness you and Mary feel. I wanted to offer to work on Nell if you would like me to. I believe deeply in the guides that honor me by being my guides, and I am sure that together we could be of help. Also, I know that Frankinsense kills cancer cells, and that other oils would help with pain. If you would like that, I would be honored to do so. Let me know.

I love you both,

Kate

Sorry to hear about Nell, but I know you will enjoy your time with her, no matter how long you have. And the journey doesn't end either, for all of us. Thanks for writing and sharing and my best to you and your family, and the mice and the deer, too! Take care, brother. Will be thinking of you all...
