I have in past years heard mockingbirds while on the road going over the hill in the direction of Peacework. It seems there are not as many kestrels these days as they were a few years back,but I have seen a few fairly recently. Hope they find your bird house to their lilking. Thanx for your observing eye, your appreciation for what you see, and your propensity for sharing it with us. Because I am no longer committed to stay in one place it seemed unfair to get another cat. Has spirit delivered a companion to fill that void? At 74, I am still willing to be open.
